Raymond Weil
‘Swiss elegance set to the rhythm of music’
Founded in Geneva in 1976, Raymond Weil is one of the last great independent Swiss watchmakers, where music and precision come together in every creation.
Raymond Weil
Founded in 1976 in Geneva at the height of the quartz crisis, Raymond Weil has made a name for itself with a clear vision: to create Swiss watches that combine elegance, precision and affordability within the luxury segment. As one of a very select group of independent family-owned houses, it upholds a philosophy built on three pillars: independence, creativity and heritage. Whilst many watch brands associate themselves with aviation or motor racing, Raymond Weil has deliberately chosen a different path: music, a family passion inherited from the founder and transformed into the very DNA of the brand. Collections with evocative names such as Maestro, Toccata and Freelancer bear witness to this deep attachment to the world of music, as do collaborations with legends such as The Beatles, David Bowie and AC/DC. Now led by Elie Bernheim, the founder’s grandson, the company will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary in 2026, having fiercely preserved its independence in a sector dominated by major groups.
